Day trip to Ourika Valley from Marrakech
The Ourika Valley Day Trip begins at 9:00 am from your Marrakech hotel and heads towards the Atlas Mountains. Initially, we’ll take a short drive from Marrakech to reach the base of the Atlas Mountains, followed by exploring a local Berber market. Continuing along the Ourika Valley, we’ll pass through several mountain villages, making stops to appreciate the stunning landscapes as we ascend.
Upon reaching the village of Setti Fatma, there’ll be a pause for a brief hike to discover picturesque waterfalls, perfect for swimming, and to soak in the awe-inspiring views of the valley from the trail.
After the Setti Fatma hike, there’s an opportunity to observe the process of making argan oil at a local cooperative. Throughout the journey, we’ll halt at various scenic viewpoints for photo opportunities and to experience the village and the Berber culture in the Ourika Valley.
The day in the Atlas Mountains will end with a drop-off at your hotel.
